The Muslim World League (MWL) has strongly condemned the statements issued by the terrorist Houthi militia against the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

In a statement issued by the MWL General Secretariat, His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, the Secretary-General of the MWL and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars, denounced the false allegations made by the militia’s so-called military spokesperson. He stated that this terrorist militia has brought nothing but death and destruction to Yemen, with the Yemeni people—along with their country’s resources, stability, and essential means of livelihood—being the primary victims of its crimes, violations, intransigence, and reckless interference in regional conflicts in pursuit of sectarian agendas and narrow political objectives. These include its attacks against the Yemeni people, its targeting of Yemen’s infrastructure—including civilian airports, oil export ports, government facilities, and commercial vessels in the Red Sea.

His Excellency affirmed that the Yemeni people, together with the wider Islamic world and the international community, recognize these false allegations as nothing more than a desperate attempt by this terrorist group to divert attention from its crimes, conceal its mounting crises, and evade responsibility for the catastrophic conditions it has inflicted upon the Yemeni people—particularly in areas under its control—as a result of its crimes, violations, mismanagement, and domination over the will and resources of the Yemeni people.

His Excellency stressed that these baseless allegations are contradicted by reality and refuted by established facts, some of which were highlighted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in its condemnation of the statements made by the so-called military spokesperson of the terrorist Houthi militia. The Ministry affirmed that, over the past years, the Kingdom, in cooperation with the legitimate Yemeni government, has worked to alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people by continuing development projects, supporting the Yemeni government’s budget, supplying the petroleum products necessary to operate power stations, and maintaining its steadfast support for all United Nations efforts aimed at achieving peace in Yemen. This reflects the Kingdom’s consistent and sincere approach of standing by the Yemeni people—an approach acknowledged by countries across the Islamic world, United Nations organizations, and the international community.
