The Muslim World League welcomes the announcement of a ceasefire agreement between the United States of America and the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The Muslim World League (MWL) welcomed the ceasefire agreement reached between the United States of America and the Islamic Republic of Iran.
In a statement issued by the MWL General Secretariat, His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, Secretary-General of the MWL and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars, stressed the importance of moving forward with negotiations to reach a lasting agreement that promotes security and stability in the region while safeguarding the interests, sovereignty, and peoples of its countries.
He also commended the mediation efforts undertaken by the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, as well as the efforts made by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the State of Qatar.
