The Muslim World League (MWL) strongly condemns the targeting of the European Hospital in Khan Yunis by Israeli forces, which resulted in the tragic loss of numerous lives and left many others injured. This act represents a deeply concerning escalation in the ongoing conflict, particularly in its impact on Palestinian civilians.
In a statement issued by the General Secretariat of the MWL, His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, Secretary-General of the MWL and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars, expressed deep concern over the continued military actions in the Gaza Strip. Emphasizing that such actions represent a grave violation of all international and humanitarian laws and norms, he called upon the international community to fulfill its legal and moral responsibilities by taking urgent measures to protect civilians, uphold international law, and ensure accountability for such violations. He further urged the activation of effective international mechanisms to prevent further escalation and ensure the protection of innocent lives.
