The Muslim World League (MWL) has strongly condemned the incident in which hundreds of settlers, accompanied by Israeli officials and protected by Israeli security forces, forcibly entered the courtyards of the Blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque. This act forms part of the ongoing practices of the occupation authorities that violate Islamic sanctities and provoke the sentiments of Muslims around the world.
In a statement issued by the General Secretariat of the MWL, His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, Secretary-General of the MWL and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars, denounced this grave violation of the sanctity of Islamic holy sites and further warned of the serious repercussions of the Israeli occupation authorities’ continued and repeated transgressions.
