Muslim World League Condemns Attack on Baptist Hospital in Gaza

The Muslim World League (MWL) has condemned—in the strongest terms—the bombing by the forces of the Israeli occupation government of the Baptist Hospital in the Gaza Strip.

In an official statement issued by its General Secretariat, His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, Secretary-General of the MWL and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars, condemned the brutal crimes that the forces of the Israeli occupation government continue to commit in the Gaza Strip without deterrence. He described these acts as a flagrant violation of all international and humanitarian laws and norms. Dr. Al-Issa stressed the urgent need for the international community to shoulder its responsibilities in confronting these serious violations and to activate international mechanisms capable of deterring such actions and protecting innocent civilians.
