The Muslim World League strongly condemns the ongoing violence against civilians in Gaza and the deadly attacks carried out by settlers on the village of Kafr Malik east of Ramallah.
Makkah:
The Muslim World League (MWL) has strongly condemned the targeting of civilian sites housing displaced people by the Israeli occupation forces, and the ongoing violence against civilians in the Gaza Strip. It also condemned the brutal, deadly attacks carried out by Israeli settlers on the village of Kafr Malik, east of Ramallah. These attacks are part of a broader pattern of violence perpetuated by settlers against Palestinians, supported and protected by the Israeli occupation forces, with complete impunity.
In a statement from the MWL's General Secretariat, H.E. Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-Issa, Secretary-General of the MWL and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars, condemned these continuing brutal crimes against unarmed civilians in the Palestinian territories, which represent a flagrant violation of all human values, international laws, and norms.
H.E. stressed the urgent need for the international community to assume its legal and ethical responsibilities regarding the Israeli occupation government's policy of disregarding the rights, humanity, and dignity of the Palestinian people. He called for an immediate and serious stance to stop these horrific massacres being committed by the Israeli war machine, to activate international mechanisms to deter them, and to hold those responsible accountable.
